Your free trial
Every new student can book a free 25-minute trial. Complete the trial before requesting a lesson package. Fern will get to know your goals, assess your level, offer an interactive mini-lesson and discuss your learning plan. A pending or cancelled trial does not unlock a package purchase. Contact Fern if you missed your trial and need help arranging it.
Quotes, payment and activation
A package request is an enquiry, not a payment or an activated package. Your written quote states the number and length of lessons, the amount and currency, whether two-student pricing is total or per student, bank transfer charges and the validity rules. Review and accept the quote before paying. Payment options are Wise and SWIFT. Use the payment instructions supplied privately by Fern and send a transaction reference or a receipt with unnecessary bank information hidden. A payment notification is not proof of cleared funds. Fern activates the package only after confirming receipt. Keep a copy of your quote and confirmation.
Package validity
Kids packages contain 5 or 10 lessons of 25 minutes, valid for 1 or 3 calendar months respectively. Other packages: 6 lessons for 1 calendar month, 12 lessons for 3 calendar months, or 25 lessons for 6 calendar months. Your written quote specifies when validity begins before you pay. The exact expiry is shown in your account. Calendar months are calculated in Asia/Bangkok time. Ask Fern about an extension if a teacher cancellation prevents you from using a lesson before expiry; no lesson credit is charged for a teacher cancellation.
Cancellations, changes and attendance
Each package includes up to three free cancellations or reschedules. Your written quote confirms which changes qualify, how the 24-hour notice rule applies and what happens after the allowance. Contact Fern before requesting a change if you need clarification. The 24-hour threshold is measured from the scheduled start of the lesson. Cancellation and rescheduling share the same free-change allowance. Review the rules in your accepted quote and contact Fern if you need confirmation of the effect on your package before requesting a change. If a charged lesson is rescheduled, the replacement requires a separate available lesson credit. In a paired/group lesson, if one student cannot attend, the lesson proceeds and counts as completed for all participants. The absent student receives the published materials. Contact Fern to arrange changes involving the whole group.
Teacher cancellations
If Fern needs to cancel, the lesson is rearranged at a mutually convenient time without a fee or loss of the reserved lesson credit. Your free-change allowance is unaffected. If the replacement would fall after the original expiry, contact Fern to agree and record the new date and any required extension.
Refunds, withdrawal and complaints
Contact help@thaiwith.me to request a refund, raise a complaint or exercise any applicable cancellation or withdrawal right. Your request will be considered under the law that applies to the contract and the circumstances, including services already supplied. Any mandatory consumer protections, refund or withdrawal rights that apply to your contract remain available, including protections that may apply where you live.
Materials and communication
PDFs, audio, notes and optional homework are shared privately with the students in the relevant lesson. Use them for your personal learning and do not redistribute another person’s information or materials without permission. Homework is optional. You can contact Fern by email outside lesson times; replies are sent as soon as possible.
Learners and guardians
An account holder must be legally able to enter this agreement. If the learner is a minor, a parent or legal guardian must manage the account, bookings and payments, identify themselves during acceptance and supervise participation as appropriate. Images, testimonials and any lesson recordings require a separate, specific permission; accepting these terms does not provide it.
Your record of acceptance
Your account records the document versions, the accepted text, date and time and whether you are acting for yourself or as a guardian. A downloadable copy is available in your dashboard. Changes to the website terms do not replace the terms stored with an existing accepted package quote.
